At The Chautauqua Center, we believe that the health and well-being of our youngest patients extends far beyond their smiles. This April, during Child Abuse Awareness Month, we want to not only celebrate the resilience of children but also shed light on the importance of protecting them.

One of our very own dental team members has taken a heartwarming initiative to bring comfort to our pediatric dental and behavioral health patients. Jolynn Triscari (pictured 1st picture, bottom row, 2nd from left) generously purchased 100 plush toys to be given to children visiting our clinic. These cuddly companions will provide a sense of security and support during a time that can often be stressful or anxiety-inducing for young patients.

A Symbol of Support

We are deeply touched by Jolynn’s act of kindness. It serves as a powerful reminder that small gestures can have a profound impact. The plush toys are not just a source of comfort; they offer a tangible symbol of love and support to children who may be experiencing awful circumstances. Jolynn and others are letting our young patients know we are on their side.

Raising Awareness for Child Abuse Prevention

Child Abuse Awareness Month is a time to amplify the voices of those dedicated to protecting children. We recognize that all our providers are often at the forefront of identifying potential signs of abuse or neglect. By providing a safe and nurturing environment, along with resources and support, we can help create a brighter future for all children.

Get Involved

If you’d like to join us in supporting child abuse prevention, here’s how you can help:
