The Chautauqua Center and SUNY Jamestown Community College Partnering to Bring Accessible Healthcare to Students

The Chautauqua Center, a non-profit healthcare organization dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality care to all, is excited to announce a new mobile health partnership with Jamestown Community College.

This collaboration will bring TCC Mobile Health Care to the JCC campus in Jamestown every other Wednesday during the spring and fall semesters, offering students convenient access to essential healthcare services.

“We are thrilled to partner with JCC to improve student health and well-being,” said Michael Pease, Executive Director of The Chautauqua Center. “Students face unique challenges when it comes to accessing healthcare, and this mobile unit partnership will remove barriers by providing confidential, affordable services right on campus.”

The mobile unit will be staffed by licensed healthcare professionals who can provide a range of services, including:

  • Reproductive health consultations.
  • Contraception counseling and prescription.
  • STD/STI testing and treatment.
  • Primary care services, such as routine checkups, immunizations, prescriptions.

 “We are committed to supporting the holistic well-being of our students,” said Roger Johnson, Director of College Health Services at JCC. “This partnership with The Chautauqua Center demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that all students have access to the healthcare they need so they can succeed both academically and personally.”

 The mobile unit will be located at the COCE Building – Health Center Entrance every other Wednesday during the spring and fall semesters. Students are asked to make an advanced appointment via Starfish or call the JCC health Center at (716) 338-1077, or (716) 338-1013. Walk-ins will be welcomed if there is availability. Students may also email the JCC Health Center at HealthCenter@mail.sunyjcc.edu with any questions.

 The Chautauqua Center is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center that provides affordable, high-quality healthcare to all, regardless of insurance or ability to pay.
