Accessibility Statement
TCC Health is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
Our Commitment
The Chautauqua Center (TCC Health) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for all visitors and apply relevant accessibility standards to our website.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A and AA, as required under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) final rule updating Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. As a federally funded health center, we recognize that accessibility is both a regulatory requirement and fundamental to equitable access to healthcare information and services.

Conformance Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some content does not fully conform to the accessibility standard — primarily through certain third-party tools and older documents. The table below summarizes conformance for key criteria.

Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of this website may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working to address these limitations:
Third-Party Patient Portal
The patient portal is provided by a third-party vendor. We have requested their Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT) and are actively working with them to address any gaps.
Legacy PDF Documents
Some older PDF documents linked from this site may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We are reviewing and updating these on a rolling basis.
Third-Party Scheduling & Payment Tools
Scheduling and payment tools are provided by third-party vendors. We are collecting VPATs from each vendor and will share accessibility information as it becomes available.
Technical Specifications
This website relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.1:
- HTML5 with semantic landmarks (
main,nav,header,footer) - WAI-ARIA roles, properties, and states
- CSS for visual presentation only (content is accessible without stylesheets)
This website has been tested using a combination of automated tools (WAVE, Google Lighthouse, axe DevTools) and manual review. Testing was performed on current versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, using keyboard-only navigation and NVDA screen reader.
